Architecture has always been my fondest love. Growing up, I spent a lot of time in New York City and I was fascinated by its ever-changing architectural landscape. I was even more impressed knowing that people made this their life's work; masterminds who influenced so many lives.  I remember thinking: What an amazing thing to do with your life. Architecture touches everything.  It shapes both our social and cultural identities as much as it shapes our daily experiences, even if so many are unaware of this fact.  As a child, it seemed nothing short of extraordinary that design held so much raw power, and I knew I wanted to be a part of it.  I could think of no better way to spend my days than designing buildings.  The more I study architecture, the more it becomes clear to me that architecture is not only our historic past, but our inspired future.  That good design is not a responsibility, but a promise to make peoples lives better.  Good architecture unconsciously inspires the best in us, just as bad design can inundate and burden our minds.  With every idea, with every design, I strive to live up to this paramount responsibility and cherish the fact that I am able to add my voice to humanity's legacy in this manner.
